Northfield, MA – Jeffory Alan Field, 74 , of Northfield passed away on Friday , August 21, 2026 peacefully at home. He was born the son of Clesson ( Rusty ) and Mary ( Dodge ) Field in Montague , Ma. He was a 1969 graduate of Pioneer Valley Regional School. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1969 to 1973 and served on ten different aircraft carriers in the Tonkin Gulf during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Northfield VFW Post 9874.
Jeff loved music , movies and hot rods. He worked at Cowen Auto until his retirement. His greatest love was his family.
Jeff is survived by his sons, Ian ( Holly ) and James Field, his grandson Logan ( Destiny ) and great grand-daughter Luna, his siblings Stephan and Susan and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a sister Christine.
There will be a celebration of his life Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 11:00 A.M. To 3:00 P.M. At the Northfield VFW, 545 Mt Hermon Station Rd., Northfield, Mass. Donation in his memory may be made to the Northfield VFW, 545 Mt Hermon Station Rd., Northfield, Ma 01360.
