Unless enough of us object, President Donald Trump’s Freedom 250 truck with its partisan display of American history, could be coming to our Big E fair Sept. 18 to Oct. 4. Freedom 250 is Trump‘s alternative to the America 250 celebration authorized by the United States, Congress and signed into law by President Barack Obama in 2016.
Trump’s display has been organized by PragerU, an Oklahoma-based conservative educational organization, and by Hillsdale College, a Michigan-based Christian liberal arts school. A congressional report alleges the Trump administration transferred $10 million taxpayer dollars away from America 250 to fund his Freedom 250 trucks.
