New England Wound Care reps coming to Senior Center
NORTHFIELD — The Northfield Senior Center will welcome representatives of New England Wound Care on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at noon, timed with an ice cream social.
Attendees can learn how to prevent and manage different common wounds like diabetic
wounds, pressure wounds and more.
Next puzzle swap set for Sept. 5
NORTHFIELD — The next puzzle swap at Dickinson Memorial Library will be held on Saturday, Sept. 5, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Visitors are advised to park behind the library and come in through the side door, then turn left to find the Community Room containing the puzzles.

Next monthly meal to feature taco bar
NORTHFIELD — The Northfield Senior Center’s next monthly meal will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 12:30 p.m.
Attendees can enjoy a ground beef and/or chicken taco bar, Spanish rice and dessert.
The cost is $10. Space is limited. Advance registration is due by Sept. 2 by calling 413-498-2901, ext. 123.
Rug-making class coming to Senior Center
BERNARDSTON — Attendees can learn how to make handwoven rugs using old bedsheets and T-shirts at the Bernardston Senior Center on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 12:30 p.m.
Participants can bring their own fabrics or use what is provided. The class size is limited, so those who are interested must sign up at the Senior Center or by calling 413-648-5413.
Sept. 10: Learn about the Home Modification Loan Program
BERNARDSTON — Visitors to the Bernardston Senior Center can learn about the Home Modification Loan Program on Thursday, Sept. 10, at 11:30 a.m.
The Home Modification Loan Program provides 0% interest loans, ranging from $1,000 to $50,000, for essential home repairs. Designed to assist elderly individuals and people with disabilities, the program supports alterations such as the addition of ramps or lifts, or bathroom remodeling for accessibility.
The loans are secured with a property lien, with repayment deferred until the home is sold or transferred.

Walking group to meet Sept. 14
NORTHFIELD — The Happy Feet walking group will meet on Monday, Sept. 14, at 10 a.m. at the Riverview Picnic Area, located at 144 Pine Meadow Road. Dogs on leashes are welcome.

NORTHFIELD — Seth Goldstein from Greenfield Savings Bank will visit the Northfield Senior Center on Monday, Sept. 14, at 11 a.m. to discuss decoding web links. Attendees will learn how to look for clues that cybercriminals attempt to hide.
Lyons, Roy to lead trivia
BERNARDSTON — The Bernardston Senior Center will welcome Kay Lyons and Rick Roy on Monday, Sept. 14, at 1 p.m. for trivia on the 1950s, ’60s, ’70s and beyond.
Teams will be chosen by lottery. Each member of the winning team will receive a prize.

Sept. 14: ‘Does the New Testament Condemn the LGBTQ+ Community?’
BERNARDSTON — The Rev. Robert Girard will give a free presentation titled “Does the New Testament Condemn the LGBTQ+ Community?” at the United Church of Bernardston, 58 Church St., on Monday, Sept. 14, at 6:30 p.m.
“I encourage everyone to attend this informative event to learn how we can spread our Christian message of understanding, acceptance and love for all people,” Girard wrote in an email announcing the program.
