Monday, July 6

1:14 p.m. — Reporting party on Mill Street wanted it documented that the neighbors are dumping an unknown powdery substance in the shrubs that separate his property from theirs. He believes the substance is cement dust.

3:46 p.m. — Greenfield Housing Authority reports a “truck bed full of garbage” was dumped in the dumpsters at Oak Courts. Incident was reported to them on July 2. Housing Authority has a photo of a male party driving a gray truck who dumped the garbage. Reporting party was advised the owner of the truck is a resident of Oak Courts. Reporting party will advise if there’s anything further needed from the Police Department.

9:50 p.m. — Report of an unwanted person at The Victoria Bar on Chapman Street. Female party reported she was asked to leave because she had a service animal. Staff report they asked her to leave because she made threats toward staff. Female party was moved along and advised of her options.

Tuesday, July 7

7:56 a.m. — Reporting party left their bag at Beacon Field on Sanderson Street the day before and when they went back for it, their iPad and medications had been taken. Party said he is unsure if there is a way to track the tablet’s location. Requested a report for the stolen medication to provide to his doctor’s office.

11:53 a.m. — Reporting party from Colrain Road states she hired a house sitter and is now missing a $10,000 ring and a container of change. House sitter and her boyfriend stayed at the house from July 3 to July 5. Reporting party went to retrieve the ring so she could sell it and found that it was missing despite other, less expensive rings not being taken. Report issued.

Wednesday, July 8

9:30 a.m. — Caller reports a collision with no injuries at the Golden Nozzle Car Wash on Newton Street. Male party left his car in drive. Caller states an elderly male hit the gas while in the middle of the car wash, causing his vehicle to bump into hers. No visible damage to her car. Reporting party was more concerned about the elderly male’s ability to drive safely. Services rendered.

6:55 p.m. — Disturbance reported at New Inkwell News on Federal Street. Male party yelling at staff. He left the store and headed south on Federal Street after spitting on the window. Area was searched, could not locate.

11:35 p.m. — Report of an unwanted person at CVS Pharmacy on Federal Street. Male party loitering in front of the store. Staff say they have had issues with him before and do not feel comfortable asking him to leave. Reporting party stated he is not currently doing anything but sitting out front. Male party moved himself along.

Thursday, July 9

8:25 a.m. — Reporting party is concerned about a red van at Green River Park on Petty Plain Road taking up space, and leaking oil and antifreeze. Reporting party was advised everyone is allowed at the park unless they are committing a crime. Reporting party was also concerned the vehicle is not registered or inspected.

12:21 p.m. — Shoplifting reported at Big Y on the Mohawk Trail. Older female party attempted to take alcohol and left of foot toward the rotary carrying a Stop & Shop reusable bag. Female party was advised not to return to Big Y.

7:46 p.m. — Reporting party is making an after-hours deposit at Greenfield Savings Bank on Main Street and the deposit is stuck in the machine. Party advising no one can get to the deposit, but it seems like something is jammed inside. Dispatcher notified the keyholder.

Friday, July 10

8:39 a.m. — Reporting party from Lincoln Street frustrated over a construction company not notifying them of their work intentions in advance and being unable to get out of their driveway in a timely manner. Services rendered.

8:53 a.m. — Caller would like it logged that she felt very uncomfortable yesterday going into City Hall using the handicap ramp due to a number of homeless people blocking the entrance. Caller also believes a party is neglecting his dog and shared her concern regarding animals owned by homeless people. She is already in communication with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Animal Control division.

Saturday, July 11

10:01 a.m. — Report of malicious destruction to a rental car at Stop & Shop on the French King Highway. Officer to investigate. Reporting party wanted documentation that the car may have been damaged last night at 7:59 p.m. in the parking lot. Services rendered.

10:47 a.m. — 911 open line from RegalCare at Greenfield on Laurel Street. Television was playing in the background. Party wanted to order her lunch: chicken noodle soup with crackers. Called staff and gave them her order, and had someone check on her.

7:22 p.m. — Reporting party states he found a black drawstring bag in the woods with a plastic bag of what he believes to be heroin inside. Michael Christian Rosa, 45, of Bayberry Court in Greenfield, was arrested on a court warrant as a fugitive from justice.

8:21 p.m. — Walk-in to the station would like to speak with an officer about cruisers parked around the city. Party is upset with the decoy cruiser and noted that, if she needs help and runs to the cruiser but finds no one there, how is she going to get help. Party feels the decoy cruiser causes more harm than good. Asked that her concerns be passed along.

10:35 p.m. — Reporting party from Country Club Road states there is a party going on across the street and there are a lot of young kids who the reporting party believes are drinking. No underage drinking observed. Graduation party moved inside.

11:47 p.m. — Caller reports about eight people walked down their driveway from the barn out back to the roadway, then took a left on Brookside Avenue. Officer out with a group of people. High school kids walking around, told them not to walk on people’s property.

Sunday, July 12

8:41 a.m. — Report of a stolen vehicle on Grinnell Street, a red 2015 Kia Sedona. Officer to investigate. Entered as stolen.

10:03 a.m. — Caller from Union Street reports the upstairs neighbor is yelling, swearing and stomping on the floor. Nicholas Tyler Ennis-Vincent, 33, of Union Street in Greenfield, was arrested on four warrants.

4:43 p.m. — Reporting party on Frederick Road is concerned about a vehicle in the lot unoccupied. Found to be the stolen red 2015 Kia Sedona. Vehicle was towed back to the Police Station for further investigation.

7:51 p.m. — Report of a male party who is intoxicated and is screaming at people in the woods at Green River Park on Petty Plain Road. David Timberlake-Salter, 41, of Pond Street in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and threatening to commit a crime.

Monday, July 13

3:29 p.m. — Traffic stop on Chapman Street. Kevin Michael Tart, 35, of High Street in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of breaking and entering into a building in the daytime for a felony, breaking into a depository and larceny under $1,200.

3:43 p.m. — Reporting party states someone pushed through her front door on Oak Courts and entered her residence. No weapons known. Paris C. Fuller, 34, of Armory Street in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of assault and battery on a family/household member and breaking and entering for a misdemeanor.

9:04 p.m. — Donna Lynne James, 68, of High Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order on Chapman Street.

10:29 p.m. — Walk-in to the station is turning himself in. Phillip R. Wood, 50, homeless of Greenfield, was arrested on four warrants.

Tuesday, July 14

12:43 a.m. — Report of an older man walking with a mallet in his hand near the cars at the skate park on Davis Street. Reporting party states he was hiding the mallet from view each time he passed them. Checked the area, gone on arrival.

4:12 p.m. — Reporting party on Kenwood Street is looking to speak with an officer about an incident that took place on a rideshare van. Party reporting she fell inside the van due to the driver’s negligence. Advised it was a civil matter. Services rendered.

Wednesday, July 15

8:25 a.m. — Officer checking on a male party sleeping in front of the Greenfield Public Library on Main Street. William Paul Robinson, 58, of Chapman Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant.

5:15 p.m. — Caller from Lampblack Road called about a suspicious Nissan sitting in front of his home with no one inside. Door-to-door pest control solicitation. Nothing suspicious.

7:54 p.m. — Chantel Lorelei Benz, 34, of Shattuck Street in Greenfield, was arrested on Colrain Street on a warrant.

8:04 p.m. — Caller from Lampblack Road reporting she can hear gunshots and she believes it’s a neighbor. Involved party claims to not have any firearms after a recent arrest and was working on a vehicle frame with a sledgehammer. Services rendered.

8:33 p.m. — Caller from Lampblack Road calling about her neighbor again, saying he is yelling and she can hear gunshots. Involved party still working on his vehicle. Officer stayed in the area and listened for gunshots.

Thursday, July 16

2:53 a.m. — Reporting party on Armory Street states when she was turning the oven off, she pushed the button and it fell down into the oven. States the oven is off at this time. Party was advised to call her landlord so he can have maintenance look at it.

5:54 a.m. — Shelter staff on Arch Place requesting police for a female party. She could be heard yelling in the background at the staff member. Staff denied needing any medical help. Kawanza Roberts, 31, of Arch Place in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of assault and battery on a police officer (two counts), assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and disorderly conduct (two counts). Also arrested was Nicole Ann Seymour, 36, of West Springfield, on a warrant.

7:12 p.m. — Officer attempting to serve a warrant at Oak Courts. Dahsean Holcomb, 18, of Elm Terrace in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant. William Leopaldi, 18, of Oak Courts in Greenfield, was also arrested on a warrant.

Friday, July 17

12:12 p.m. — Tree fell on a vehicle at Federal and Church streets. Officer requesting the Department of Public Works for tree removal. No wires, fluids or people involved. Minor damage to the vehicle.

2:33 p.m. — Caller from Maple Street reports a tree fell on his car yesterday due to the wind. No power lines or anything else involved. Caller is unsure if it is CVS Pharmacy property or his landlord’s. Advised party to speak with his insurance. Private property.

4:47 p.m. — Traffic stop at Silver Street and Country Club Road. Destiny Amber McDonough, 28, of Riverside Drive in Greenfield, was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense).

Saturday, July 18

2:00 a.m. — Traffic stop on Green River Road. Party was parked in the middle of the road “looking at the stars.” Party was not impaired and moved along without incident.

8:09 a.m. — Reporting party on Wells Street reports a black e-bike with a left blue peg and right pink peg, and a bobcat sticker on the battery, was stolen. Charger also stolen. No suspects at this time, working on security footage from neighboring houses/businesses.

Sunday, July 19

11:13 a.m. — Caller from Elm Street reports a Diamondback bicycle appeared in her driveway behind her vehicle overnight. Owner unknown. Entered as found property.

12:47 p.m. — Reporting party reports people playing soccer at Beacon Field on Sanderson Street have their car parked on the grass in a no parking area. Reporting party states he said something to these people and they were not very nice to him. Vehicle was moved to a parking space. Services rendered.
