Turners Falls, MA – Donald W. Faulkner passed away after a long battle with pancreatic cancer at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston on July 15th, 2026. Donald was a man of many hobbies: building fishing rods, working on & riding his bicycles, and walking his dog. He could fix many things and enjoyed helping others.
Donald was born in Greenfield, Massachusetts on July 23rd, 1961. He graduated from Franklin County Tech in 1979. He joined the Coast Guard in January of 1980 where he learned electrical trade work.
He married his wife Pamela Secord in 1982. They had two children together. The Coast Guard had brought them to many new places, where Donald worked on many types of boats and even lighthouses. He retired from the Coast Guard after 22 years of service, and returned to Turners Falls, Massachusetts. Donald later worked at Home Depot and the local Taylor Rental.
He was survived by his brother Bill Trombi, his son Jacob Faulkner, daughter Tawnya Becker, son-in-law Victor J. Becker IV, granddaughters Gwendolyn & Monica, grandson Victor the 5th, nephew Bobby Demers, and nephew Jack Trombi. He was predeceased by his mother Janet Trombi, stepfather William Trombi, father Donald W. Faulkner, and brother Robert Faulkner.
While the cancer endured the long struggle with Donald, he had passed with dignity. He was well cared-for by a team of doctors, nurses, and other medical providers. He always shared his wisdom and broad knowledge with anyone seeking help.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a date yet to be determined by surviving family members.
