Peggylee Euvrard Mullen

Wheelwright, MA – Peggylee Mullen née Euvrard , Born 30 December 1950 Athol, Massachusetts to Lena and Albert Euvrard, Passed 6 July 2026 after a valiant battle with cancer.

Born and raised in Athol, she devoted much of her young life to raising her sons: Ian and Micah.

Choosing to expand her horizons – she earned a degree from Mount Watchusett Community College and moved to Barre where she met the love of her life, Gary Flood.

Together, they settled into the Village of Wheelwright and embraced the peace of a place that nourished and comforted her for the remaining forty years of her life. In this home and life they made for themselves, Peggy and Gary proudly, lovingly, raised her grandson, Ty,

A naturally shy person, Peggy harbored a genuine, innate dynamism, that shone brightest when she was in the company of those she loved the most: Gary, her children, her grandson, and her ten brothers and sisters.

She reserved a unique affection for her nieces and nephews. Her time with them was devoted to appreciating the quirky beauty and humor of life.

A ferocious inquisitiveness attracted her to reading, quilting, knitting, and gardening. She was a keeper of family lore, giddily collected from older siblings and passed down to the younger generations as precious treasure. When she wasn’t sharing her enthusiasms with those close to her, an ocean’s beach was her paradise.
