On behalf of the VFW Kennedy-Chamberlin Post 8503 I am writing to thank members of the community for the contributions they made to the Shelburne Memorial Day Ceremony on May 25, 2026.
Through their generous participation the Memorial Day Committee was able to conduct a beautiful ceremony that paid honor to those servicemen who lost their lives in service to our country.
We especially would like to thank the Shelburne Board of Selectmen, Andrew Baker, Rodney McBride, and Richard LaPierre. Judy Hoyt from the Fraternal Order of Eagles, MIchelle Olaynk from Mo’s Fudge Factor, Chase Burton of Chase Burton Productions, Catherine Halberg, Wreathmaker, the Buckland Shelburne Elementary School Chorus directed by Shelly Roberts, and the Shelburne Falls Military Band led by Karen Atherton.
