A two-day baseball clinic returns to Lunt Fields on July 21 and 22 as a result of a partnership between the Valley Blue Sox, Greenfield Minor League Baseball and Franklin County’s YMCA.

Young athletes will have the opportunity to develop their hitting, pitching, and fielding skills with instruction from Valley Blue Sox players and coaches. The clinics begin at 9 a.m. and runs until noon. The clinic is open to all children.

“We love hosting these clinics because they give our players a chance to connect with young athletes in the community,” said Brandon Seymour, General Manager of the Valley Blue Sox . “It’s special to see these college players share what they’ve learned and inspire kids who are just starting to fall in love with baseball. Those relationships and memories are what make these events so meaningful.”

The cost to participate is $60, or $50 for Franklin County’s YMCA members. All participants
will receive a complimentary Valley Blue Sox t-shirt and tickets to a Blue Sox home game.

Players should arrive each day with a glove, water bottle, sunscreen and a baseball hat.
Cleats and bats are recommended but are not required. Parents can register early here. For more information on registering for the clinic, please contact Sara Hannon at
