Robert T. Maslyn

Greenfield, MA – Robert T. Maslyn, 77, passed Friday June 26, 2026, at Baystate Franklin Medical Center. He was born in Rochester, NY on October 22, 1948, to Francis and Marie (O’Connor) Maslyn.

Bob graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a BA in Journalism. He earned two master’s degrees in public administration and social work from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University. He worked at the Health and Human Services Department and later the General Services Administration of the Federal Government.

He will be greatly missed.

Bob is survived by his wife, Rebecca, and her two children, Daniel and Hannah and his siblings; Michael (Patricia), Patricia Powers (Richard), James (Maureen Bisnett), Thomas, and Mary (Serge Fillion). He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother William Maslyn and his sister Kathleen Foos.

There are no services planned at this time.
