9:18 a.m. — Four goats in the roadway on Hope Street. Animal control officer sent.
11:28 a.m. — Caller at Oak Courts wants to speak to someone regarding the maintenance man entering her apartment. Caller stated there has been ongoing harassment. Building manager is aware of the issues. Reporting party was advised of options.
3:08 p.m. — Reporting party on Hope Street is concerned about individuals who are continuously driving motorcycles in Highland Park, tearing up trails. Looking to be advised of his options on how to prevent it. Four calls to the reporting party went to voicemail.
5:28 p.m. — Reporting party states his clothes were stolen from the Village Shops Laundromat on the French King Highway. Party stated his clothing was taken out of the dryer on Sunday, May 10, between 4 and 5 p.m. Party has been in contact with the manager and would be reviewing the security cameras. Reporting party was advised to follow up with police once that was complete.
Tuesday, May 12
10:58 a.m. — Several seats reported stolen off of equipment at United Ag & Turf on Shelburne Road. Report taken.
1:45 p.m. — Loud music reported on Conway Street. Party refused to turn the music down due to there not being an ordinance. Party was informed that there is, however, a disturbing-the-peace statute. Reportedly turned the music down for a little while, but it has been turned back up.
3:09 p.m. — Caller states there are people setting up grills and chairs along the side of the road on Eunice Williams Drive. Parties stated they had just finished a cycling event and believed this was a safe location for a picnic. Same were advised that the road is an unsafe location and that there are public parks in the center of Greenfield that they can use.
9:40 p.m. — Loud music reported again on Conway Street. Spoke with the involved party and advised him of the complaint and what could happen if this continues.
Wednesday, May 13
7:51 a.m. — Caller from Mountain Road reports she received a notification from her cameras and there is an older male party on her property. Man was from the Water Department, reading meters.
8:46 a.m. — Officer conducting a follow-up investigation on Princeton Terrace. Casey Sean Malone, 35, of Princeton Terrace in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of assault and battery, assault and battery on a person over 60/disabled, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Thursday, May 14
9:13 a.m. — Officer assisting Greenfield Fire Department and city officials with an inspection of a property on Conway Street. Police presence requested due to squatters and unknown circumstances. Alarm company was able to complete repairs without incident. Fire and health officials were able to conduct their inspections as well. No police involvement needed.
2:19 p.m. — Report of shoplifting at Tractor Supply Co. on Newton Street. Female party reportedly stole clothing and left in a Nissan Rogue. One party was seen concealing items in a bag and the other purchased a drink, distracting employees. Report issued.
Friday, May 15
12:01 p.m. — Caller on Kimball Drive would like to report that a female party was yelling at him about his dog and filming him, even though her dog was not on a leash. No answer on callback. Voicemail left.
12:48 p.m. — Party found a .22 bullet at Home Depot on the Mohawk Trail and asset protection advised him to call the police to come get it. Removed.
12:58 p.m. — Report of a disabled vehicle at Poet’s Seat Tower. Silver Ford sedan with and a flat tire. No active plates; illegally attached California plate on the front. Vehicle is filled with clothes, trash and numerous other items.
11:27 p.m. — A traffic stop on Pleasant Street resulted in the arrest of Benjamin S. Ware, 55, of Spring Terrace in Greenfield, on charges of failure to stop/yield, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and OUI-liquor over .08%.
Saturday, May 16
12:44 a.m. — Caller reports seeing three people walking in the area of Wells and Allen streets wearing all black and ski masks. Walking north on Wells Street. Officer out with three parties who appear to be juveniles. Juveniles are walking to McDonalds. Not suspicious.
10:43 a.m. — Attempted breaking and entering reported on Shattuck Street. Teenage girls are on a ladder trying to get into a window. Homeowner contacted. Ongoing housing court issues. First-floor tenant changed the locks without permission.
12:33 p.m. — Report of two male parties wearing all black setting off fireworks in the area of Riverside Drive. Witnesses confirmed hearing fireworks. No one found in the area matching that description.
3:17 p.m. — Officer reporting a disturbance on Main Street at Antique Revival and Collectibles. Involved party tipped over a sidewalk display belonging to Antique Revival. Business owner was advised to report any damage.
6:23 p.m. — Natalya Mikhaylichenko, 38, of Walnut Street in Greenfield, was arrested during a traffic stop at Chapman and Main streets on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a license suspended for OUI.
10:32 p.m. — Reporting party reports hearing a woman screaming and yelling for about a half an hour. Sound seems to be coming from Pierce Street. Officer checked the area and spoke to neighbors, who stated they didn’t hear anything.
Sunday, May 17
8:21 a.m. — Reporting party on Phillips Street reports a male party on a black e-bike seems to be casing out her house and the house next door. Reporting party stated the person went all the way down the driveway to the garage. Reporting party has this on video. Observed the male party ride his bike into the driveway and leave. No crime observed.
11:40 a.m. — Caller reports a female party struck her in the face while she was painting a mural. Female is heading down Main Street near Wild Roots. Simple assault and battery. Services rendered.
12:45 p.m. — Disturbance reported on Chapman Street. Kids yelling outside “you got a computer, you better come out or we’re going in.” Received a second call, open line. First caller called back to say the two boys left with a laptop in hand. Nathan Terrell Franklin, 34, of Congress Street in Orange, was arrested on a charge of breaking and entering in the daytime for a felony.
6:58 p.m. — Caller reports a crash with no injuries on Robbins Road. A Greyhound bus struck a hydrant. Confirmed hydrant damage, Department of Public Works notified.
