Granby, MA – Ralph Streeter, 73, of Granby, MA, and formerly of Bernardston, MA, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.
Born on May 22, 1953, he was the son of Erwin “Bud” and Phyllis (Packard) Streeter. A 1971 graduate of Greenfield High School, Ralph was a familiar face in the local community throughout his career. After high school, he began his work at Phases Restaurant in Bernardston. He later went on to own and operate The Quintessence restaurant at the Bernardston Inn. Following his time there, Ralph shared his talents with Muchmores and Famous Bill’s, and served as the seafood manager at Foster’s Supermarket.
Ralph was a naturally social person who never met a stranger. He cultivated many lasting friendships over the years, often enjoying conversation as much as the work itself. Outside of his professional life and social circles, Ralph was an avid fisherman who had a deep appreciation for music and talk radio.
He is survived by his two sons: Benjamin Streeter and his wife, Jane, of Pennsylvania; and Justin Streeter and his wife, Amanda, of Greenfield. He also leaves behind his two sisters, Doreen Stevens and her husband, Gary, of Gill, and Mindy McDonough and her husband, Jim, of Northfield. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Christine, Angelina, Zachary, Mariah, Elijah, Logan, and Lincoln, as well as his great-grandchild, Luna.
Ralph was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Steven Streeter.
A graveside service will be held on June 19, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Center Cemetery, located on Depot St. in Bernardston, MA.
Kidder Funeral Home (1 Parker Ave., Northfield, MA) is assisting the family with arrangements.
