Bernardston museum open Sunday
BERNARDSTON — The Bernardston Historical Society Museum at 20 Church St. will be open Sunday, June 7, from 1 to 4 p.m.
Included in the museum’s large collection are household relics, old farm implements, historic photos, and the Lumen Nelson taxidermy collection of small mammals and birds. Attendants will be on hand to answer questions.
The museum is located on the second floor of the former Powers Institute building and is fully accessible. Ample parking is located at the rear of the building, with the lot entrance located on Library Street.
Admission is free, though donations are appreciated.
Two Bernardston students make Quinnipiac dean’s list
HAMDEN, Conn. — Alexander Sabin and Alana Redeker, both of Bernardston, were named to the dean’s list at Quinnipiac University for the spring semester.
To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 with no grade lower than a C. Full-time students must complete at least 14 credits in a semester, with at least 12 credits that have been graded on a letter grade basis to be eligible. Part-time students must complete at least six credits during a semester.
Northfield student named to Fairfield University dean’s list
FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Northfield resident Rachel Wood was named to the dean’s list at Fairfield University for the spring semester.
To be placed on the dean’s list, students must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours in a semester, have no outstanding or incomplete grades for that semester, and have attained a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better.
