Greenfield Cooperative Bank hosting event to support Cooley Dickinson Hospital
NORTHAMPTON — Greenfield Cooperative Bank will hold its upcoming Networking for Good event benefiting Cooley Dickinson Hospital Behavioral Health Unit on Thursday, June 11, from 8 to 9 a.m., at Familiars Coffee and Tea, at 6 Strong Ave. in Northampton.
To support the Behavioral Health Unit, GCB will collect new and gently used books — from graphic novels to romance and history — that are in good condition and appropriate for all readers. The CDH Behavioral Health Unit offers community members in crisis a safe and comfortable space to recover and move toward a life of greater stability and growth.
Beacon Bank to host first-time homebuyers workshop
SPRINGFIELD — Beacon Bank, in partnership with Pawtucket Central Falls Development (PCF Development), will host a free virtual workshop for first-time homebuyers on Tuesday, June 16, at 5:30 p.m. to commemorate National Homeownership Month.
The live Zoom workshop, “Introduction to Homeownership & Financial Wellness,” will cover the following homeownership topics: education about the process, financial readiness, credit readiness, mortgage readiness and preparing for the ongoing responsibilities of a homeowner. Workshop participants will gain valuable insights from HUD-certified Housing Counselor Dianny Melusky from PCF Development, as well as mortgage specialists Stephanie Silva and Kathy Galipeau from Beacon Bank.

GREENFIELD — The Massachusetts Small Business Development Center and Greenfield Cooperative Bank are hosting a free, in-person marketing workshop titled “AI for Small Business: Getting Found Online — Google & AI Search” on Wednesday, June 10, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Held at Greenfield Cooperative Bank at 63 Federal St. in Greenfield, this hands-on session is designed for local small business owners looking to optimize their visibility on artificial intelligence platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google Gemini. Led by MSBDC Regional Director Robert DelMastro, an information technology and cybersecurity expert with 35 years of experience, attendees will evaluate their current digital presence and build an actionable strategy to improve search visibility.
