Ellie Galenski went 4-for-4 for Alliance Partners in a 5-0 win over Perspective Learning in Greenfield Girls Softball League action on May 19.

Ella Szawlowski also had a big day at the plate for Alliance Partners, going 3-for-4 with an RBI. Szawlowski added an effective inning in the circle to help secure the win in Junior Division play.

Isabella Tottser and Lily Beckwith each had two hits for Perspective.

Elks 4, Pristine 0 — Willow Bettencourt led the offense for Elks, going 3-for-3 in a win over Pristine on May 19. Aniese Williams and Onalee Reynolds both went 2-for-3 with an RBI to add to the offensive attack. Lily Sadowsky went 2-for-2, with Giavanna Stebbins adding a hit for Pristine.

Greenfield Minor League Baseball

New Fortune 6, Smitty’s Pub 5 — Anthony Ruggeri drove in the game-winning run in the sixth inning for New Fortune in the victory over Smitty’s Pub on May 19. Ruggeri’s clutch hit brough home Reed Kelley. Elijah Lawler and Collin Winslow both had two hits for New Fortune. Brantley Godfrey had a two-run double for Smitty’s, with Brayden Parody and Carson White each adding a hit.

Maniattys 11, Gilmore & Farrell 2 — Toby Campbell won on the mound and launched a two-run homer in the win for Maniattys on May 20. Owen Castine had two hits, with Emerson Snow adding another hit for Maniattys. Blake Minor went 2-for-3 with a homer for Gilmore & Farrell. Tommy Shivone and Joseph Gardner both added a hit.

Co-Ed

Montague Elks 18, Posada’s Tavern 2 — Ricky Craver brough the power in the Elks win over Posada’s on May 20. Craver went 4-for-4 with two homers. John Dawicki (homer) and Meghan Lumbis both added three hits. For Posada’s, Nini Rodriguez went 2-for-2, with Kris Queles-Santiago and Lindsay Skelton each adding a hit.

Liberty Tax Sharks 30, Tavern 15 — Che Christi and Jacob Christi combined for 10 hits in the win for the Sharks on May 20. Kenzie Bardwell added four hits with three RBI, while Marcy Conway connected on three hits with a double and two RBI.

For Tavern, Brian Ginnity had four hits with two RBI. Seth Aldrich added two doubles, a homer and four RBI. Stephanie Scott added a couple base knocks for Tavern.

Here are the winners for the K of C League on May 20. T1 — Chris Ray, Rod Demers, Jason Hickey and Kent McGahan (+6). Closest to pin — Ryan Hickey on the seventh (one foot, eight inches); John O’Riley on the ninth (14 feet, two inches). Skin(s) won this week: Bill Chambers. Low Gross: Bob Bourbeau (37).

Women’s League results: Three clubs and a putter (May 20) — Low gross: Shayla Demers (46); Low Net: Jen Corridan (31). Closest to the pin: Terry Adams on the seventh (seven feet, four inches).

Franklin Tech 6, Mount Greylock 5 — The Eagles fell behind early, but came back to beat the Mounties in Turners Falls on May 20. Hunter Donahue and Nick Prasol had a hit and an RBI for Franklin Tech. Mason Bassett pitched four innings with four strikeouts and went 1-for-2 at the plate. Cody Yetter added a triple for the Eagles.

Softball

Mohawk 14, Palmer 4 (six innings) — Grace Stevens got her 100th strikeout of the season and the win over the Panthers in Buckland on May 20. Stevens now has 109 for the season. Emmalee Inman went 4-for-4 with two doubles while Addie Loomis went 3-for-4 at the plate for Mohawk.
