WARWICK — Forty-seven of Warwick’s 692 registered voters came to the polls on Monday, making for a roughly 6.8% voter turnout in an election that saw 12 incumbents retain their seeks in a slate of uncontested races.

Although there were no ballot candidates for the three-year term as Transfer Station commissioner, write-in candidate Janice Starmer earned two votes, prevailing over a series of other write-in candidates who each received one vote. Town Clerk John Paganetti confirmed Wednesday morning that Starmer has accepted the position.

The reelected incumbents are as follows:

  • Selectboard, three-year term: Brian Snell, 42 votes.
  • Board of Assessors, three-year term: Ann Kendall, 46 votes.
  • Board of Health, three-year term: Anna Picard, 46 votes.
  • Constable, three-year term: Brian Peters, 46 votes.
  • Library trustees, two seats with three-year terms: Kerry Cooke, 46 votes, and Jesse Lopes, 45 votes.
  • Town clerk, three-year: John Paganetti, 46 votes.
  • Highway commissioner, three-year term: Robert Croke, 41 votes.
  • Cemetery commissioner, three-year term: Coco King, 45 votes.
  • School Committee member, two seats with three-year terms: Adam Holloway, 41 votes and Miranda Kingfisher, 43 votes. 
  • Moderator, one-year term: Jim McRae, 46 votes.
