Shall we use the more correct name from now on? It’s no longer the Supreme Court, it’s the Extreme Court.
With the most recent decision, Louisiana vs Callais, a full display is given to the true desires of six members of this court. Allowing legislative maps to be redrawn in order to dilute and negate representation of Black voters, some states will now have no Black representation in Congress.
As U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock of Georgia says, “Some people don’t want some people to vote.” The zeal Republican legislators have demonstrated in cleaving their districts into unfair monstrosities is repulsive.
They appear to have no issue displaying the truth of their nature. It’s beyond clear what the (R) really indicates.
