“Taxation without representation” jargon from the American Revolution is apropos today. To wit: all 13 original states have no Republicans to represent us citizens in the U.S. Congress.

The ends justify the means. Liberals do not want to persuade or cajole voters to their side of an issue. They want complete control, to do as they want. It is called autocratic. They dislike democracy. Liberalism is banning an adult, until age 21, from buying alcohol or tobacco products but allowing a child to have gender affirming drugs or surgery without notifying their parents.

Thirty-six percent of Massachusetts residents voted for President Trump in 2024. Both our senators are deep blue liberal zealots.
Liberal policies have created a net outflow of citizens moving from our state. “Fair share” tax the rich. The U.S. borders are finally closed. This combination has caused reduced population, especially school age children.
Less population equals less money from the federal government, which means less state reimbursement to cities and towns. Why are property tax overrides the main topic in many town meetings this spring? There is your answer.
