BERNARDSTON — With no contested races on Monday’s election ballot, 45 of the town’s 1,874 registered voters, or 2.4%, came out to the polls.

The election results are as follows:

  • Selectboard: Brian Keir for a three-year term, 42 votes.
  • Board of Assessors: Melissa Murphy for a three-year term, 43 votes.
  • Board of Health: Trisha Earl for a three-year term, 42 votes.
  • Constable: Mark Gilmore for a three-year term, 42 votes.
  • Moderator: Geoffrey Wilson for a three-year term, 39 votes.
  • Recreation Commission: Franc Kromholz for a three-year term, 41 votes. Write-in candidate Kayla Lapine received five write-in votes.
  • Powers Institute trustees: Donna Eddy and Kristina Streeter for three-year terms. Streeter received 43 votes and Eddy received 41. Two seats remain open.
  • Cushman Library trustees: Beth Watrous, Justin Lawrence and Kristen Peterson, all for three-year terms. Watrous received 44 votes, while Lawrence and Peterson each received 43. One seat remains open.

There were no candidates on the ballot for a two-year term as a Cushman Library trustee, a two-year term as a Powers Institute trustee, a one-year term on the Recreation Commission and a two-year term on the Board of Health.
