BERNARDSTON — Ten incumbents are seeking reelection and there are no contested races in this year’s town election, set for Monday, May 4.
The polls will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Bernardston Town Hall, 38 Church St.
Included on the ballot this year are:
- Selectboard: incumbent Brian Keir is seeking another three-year term.
- Board of Assessors: incumbent Melissa Murphy is seeking another three-year term.
- Board of Health: incumbent Trisha Earl is seeking another three-year term.
- Constable: incumbent Mark Gilmore is seeking another three-year term.
- Moderator: incumbent Geoffrey Wilson is seeking another three-year term.
- Recreation Commission (two available positions): Franc Kromholz is seeking another three-year term.
- Powers Institute trustees (four available positions): incumbents Donna Eddy and Kristina Streeter are both seeking three-year terms.
- Cushman Library trustees (four positions available): incumbents Beth Watrous and Justin Lawrence are both seeking three-year terms, alongside new candidate Kristen Peterson, who is also seeking a three-year term.
There are no candidates on the ballot for a two-year term as a Cushman Library trustee, a two-year term as a Powers Institute trustee, a one-year term on the Recreation Commission and a two-year term on the Board of Health. These positions can be won by write-in candidates.
