Juliet M. Donelson

Highlands Ranch, CO – Juliet “Julie” (Moll) Donelson, 88, passed away peacefully on February 23, at Wind Crest in Highlands Ranch, CO. She moved to Wind Crest in 2021, where she continued to share her warmth and friendship with those around her.

Born in Pasadena, CA, Julie spent her childhood between Pasadena and Jackson, WY, where she lived with her beloved parents, Violet and Harry Moll, and her siblings, Richard Moll and MaryBeth (Moll) Baldwin. She carried with her a love of both the California sunshine and the beauty of the Wyoming mountains throughout her life.

Julie attended the University of Utah, where she was a proud member of Alpha Phi sorority. She later earned a Master’s degree in Computers, reflecting her forward-thinking spirit.

Julie married Robert “Bob” Donelson, and together they built a loving home and strong partnership. From 1979 to 2021, Bob and Julie made their home in Morrison. CO, where they formed lasting friendships and became part of a close-knit community.

Julie dedicated many years as a substitute teacher in Jefferson County Schools, specializing in computers. She embraced technology during a time of rapid change and found great joy in helping students gain confidence and skills in an evolving digital world.

Julie is survived by her devoted husband, Bob Donelson; her son, Michael Donelson of San Diego, CA, and his wife, Heather Dunphy Donelson, along with her cherished grandsons, Hunter and Jack; and her daughter, Heather Donelson of Colorado Springs, CO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Violet and Harry Moll, and her siblings, Richard Moll and Marybeth (Moll) Baldwin.

A memorial service will be held at Smith-Kelleher Funeral Home in Shelburne Falls Wednesday, March 25, at 10 a.m., followed by internment in North River Cemetery in Colrain.
