11:51 a.m. — Reporting party from Wells Street reports the neighbor across the street has placed a couch and mattress outside the residence that is now blocking the fire hydrant. Investigated. Not interfering with the hydrant.
3:27 p.m. — Report of unwanted individuals at the Community Health Center of Franklin County on Main Street. Officers sent. Two males and one female are partaking in adult beverages in the lobby, would like them moved along. Officer spoke with the three individuals, who packed their belongings and left with no issue.
Tuesday, March 3
9:49 a.m. — Reporting party on Olive Street reports he terminated one of his employees and she is throwing things around the office. Verbal argument between both parties. Employee left with her belongings.
1:06 p.m. — Reporting party from Juniper Court reports needing to surrender her dog. She is afraid it will bite someone and is unable to control it while walking. Information given to the animal control officer.
3:01 p.m. — Party called to report she is receiving calls from an Officer Shaw from Greenfield Police Department asking her about her accounts. Spoke with the reporting party who advised that Officer Shaw was calling to collect $900 that she owed to Walmart. Reporting party did not provide any personal information to the caller. Party wanted the Police Department to be aware.
Wednesday, March 4
9:45 a.m. — Caller reports CVS Pharmacy on Federal Street sold him a fraudulent $400 gift card. No fraudulent card sold, reporting party is having issues using the debit card he bought from CVS. Reporting party was advised to contact the card company and dispute the issue with them.
2:58 p.m. — Report of an unwanted person at Greenfield Savings Bank on Main Street. Officers sent. Female party on the back steps to the parking lot was not leaving when asked. Party moved along without issue.
Thursday, March 5
9:04 a.m. — Threat reported at Crescent Street and Highland Avenue. Department of Public Works employee reports that someone threatened them verbally and sprayed their truck with pepper spray. Could not locate.
Friday, March 6
10:11 a.m. — Report of malicious destruction to property on Montague City Road. Officer to investigate. Reporting party states her mailbox has been knocked off the post. Mailbox was knocked over, possibly by a plow truck. Party noticed the damage when she returned at around 10:00 a.m. Services rendered.
3:49 p.m. — Reporting party on Western Avenue states a male party in a blue car parked in front of her house at around 1:00 p.m. and approached the home once he watched someone leave the house. Unsure of who the male party is. Caller has security camera footage of the incident. Reporting party was advised to call the Police Department immediately if it happens again.
Saturday, March 7
1:56 p.m. — Report of breaking and entering on Wells Street. Caller reports a male party just broke into the house next door through a window. Found to be a resident of the apartment who accidentally locked himself out. No further police services required.
6:50 p.m. — Report of a structure fire on Phillips Street. Caller states smoke and flames are visible from the neighbor’s barn. Caller has called three times reporting a fire at this location. Legal campfire. Not as reported.
10:08 p.m. — Male party in a silver Subaru reportedly approached a neighbor on Prentice Avenue asking for gas, but by the time the neighbor came back, the male party had left. Incident seems to have occurred about 30 minutes ago. Vehicle seemed to go toward the General Pierce Bridge. Reporting party has camera footage. Similar description from an earlier call on Hope Street. Officers patrolled the area of Montague City Road and Hope Street. Could not locate.
Sunday, March 8
11:58 a.m. — Caller from High Street believes someone tried to break into her apartment earlier in the morning. Reporting party suspects neighbors are targeting her. No signs of forced entry and nothing appears to be stolen. Report issued.
7:11 p.m. — Report of a large pothole on Chapman Street roughly 75 feet before the intersection with Silver Street. Patrolled the area of Chapman Street, unable to locate any significant potholes. Department of Public Works was notified via a work order.
9:40 p.m. — Reporting party from Miles Street advising there is a male party inside the building on the top floor with multiple belongings. Caller is concerned he may be homeless and squatting there. Reporting party would like him moved along. Officers advised.
10:09 p.m. — Officer attempting to serve an arrest warrant on Chapman Street. Jariely Taisha Vazquez, 35, of Holyoke, was arrested on a warrant.
