Kay Muzzey Dodge

Londonderry, NH – Kay Muzzey Dodge (93) of Londonderry, NH passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on 2/7/26.

Born 12/13/1932, she was the youngest of four children, Marjorie (Ferrari), Nancy (Woodrow) and David to Dr. Ivor P. and Marjorie Muzzey of Orange, MA. She was predeceased by all.

She married, and is survived by her High School sweetheart, Bernard Dodge in 1953. They enjoyed their loving marriage for 72 years.

She and Bernie have five children; Dana (Terri), Gary (Cathy), Sally (Henry Lopez), Kevin and Glenn (Amy); seven Grandchildren Chris Dodge, Jennifer Dodge (Joe Wallace); Erin Dodge, Grant Dodge, Emily Dodge (Lee Ridella); Kelsey Adams (Connor Nolan), Collis Jeffrey Adams. She has many nieces and nephews who adored her.

She took great pride in being a Grammy. She was most proud recently to see all her grandchildren currently living their best lives. She was very proud to be a great Grammy to Beckett (Kit) Nolan.

She graduated from Orange High School in 1950.

She was a Rainbow Girl and went on to be lifelong Eastern Star member, recently receiving her 60 year pin.

She was a member of the Central Congregational Church of Orange, where she was married, baptized and baptized her five children.

After HS, she attended Wheelock College in Boston. She worked in Nursing homes in GA and MA, earning her CNA, and loved every moment caring for the elderly.

She was nurturing, strong, especially kind, compassionate and loving. She never had a bad word to say about anyone, even if well deserved. She embodied the definition of grace. She had the strongest moral code living in God’s light to always “do unto others.”

Wonderful and warm, a dedicated Wife, Mother, grandmother, friend, confidant – full of peace and eternally beautiful in all ways.

We will remember her mad skills in knitting, mending and flower gardening, always singing and humming. Her sharp wit and dry sense of humor that kept everyone on their toes will be especially missed.

In lieu of flowers, you may donate to St. Jude’s (StJudes.org) in her honor.

A private ceremony will be held in NH with family and services will be held at a later date in MA to be determined by family.
