Amherst, MA – Lois E. (Laskoski) Krok, 78, of Amherst, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Cooley Dickinson Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 27, 1947, in Northampton, to the late Walter and Alice (Usadvenus) Laskoski.
She graduated from Frontier Regional High School and held several jobs over her lifetime. Most recently, she worked as an office manager for Coca Cola Company before retiring. Lois loved spending her free time reading, watching movies on TV, searching for things online, and above all, sharing her wonderful sense of humor, which brought joy to everyone around her-even until her final moments.
She is survived by her daughter, Tara Krok of Greenfield, grandchildren, Rhiannon and Riley “Grey” Krok both of Greenfield, her sisters, Arlene Lawson of Northampton, Jane Konvelski of S. Deerfield, Ruth Smith of Sunderland, and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sisters, Diane Kirby, Mary Shaffer, and Gloria Connelly.
There will be a calling hour on Sunday March 8, 2026, from 11AM – 12 PM at DROZDAL FUNERAL HOME, 120 DAMON RD., NORTHAMPTON. Service will begin in Funeral Home at 12 PM. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
