Rose Novak of North Orange captured this photo. “When I get up in the morning several squirrels are already waiting for me to fill the bird feeders with sunflower seeds, and more importantly, throw out peanuts for them! I’m not sure which one it is, but one of them sits right in front of my sliding door on my deck and knocks on the door if I dare to have breakfast before feeding them!” ROSE NOVAK / For the Recorder
