Racial justice, climate justice, food justice, injustice, no justice no peace, Justice Now.
We have all see these scribbled on signs the septuagenarians are holding on the street corners nowadays. It doesn’t add up. “Defund the police” and “Abolish ICE” the rallying cry of AWFL and other liberals rings hollow.
“I fought the law and the law won” Bobby Fuller Four, 1966. RIP. What part of this song title don’t they understand? How can you obtain justice without the police or ICE agents enforcing our countries laws?
These laws we voted on and accepted by the people and enacted into federal law by Congress. If you do not like the laws, then work to change them.
Why advocate lawlessness, ignoring them or attacking the people (ICE agents and local police) attempting to enforce them? Intimidation, harassment, obstruction are all illegal federal laws. Doing any of these against a federal agent and you are subject to arrest or worse.
Idiotic politicians, governors and mayors, with their rhetoric are emboldening and gaslighting citizens to put themselves in harm’s way. The consequences can be deadly.
Why are liberal Democrats protesting against arresting people who broke the immigration laws, are here illegally and are criminals? I can not fathom why.
Our nation is built on the rule of law. Plato, Socrates, Descartes, Greek philosophers and orators, opined in 400 BC on the rule of law, reasoning, the “Socratic method,” chaos, “I think, therefore I am.” Have we lost our way?
