Writing to respond to the Jan. 27 letter placing blame on Renee Good for being murdered by an ICE agent. The letter writer made his point with his grandfather’s quote, “You mess with the bull; you get the horns.”
We agree on one thing: the officer who took Renee’s life was acting from his animal self — not from the caring, protective mindset I would expect and demand from our hardworking and essential immigration control officers.
