The term apartheid has been discussed on these pages recently. Perhaps it was easier to understand in South Africa because of the U.S. history of slavery. A very good documentary, “Israelism,” made by Tikkun Olam productions, is available on YouTube. It features different perspectives from interviews with American Jews in the United States and in Israel/Palestine. It is definitely worth watching — don’t miss the ending.
