9:31 a.m. — Report of unwanted person on Shattuck Street. Officers sent. Involved party showed up unannounced and started screaming at the reporting party. Involved party was verbally advised not to trespass on the Shattuck Street property and was told that any future incidents will result in arrest.
11:29 a.m. — Anonymous reporting party claims there are human remains buried in the basement of a home on Devens Street. Officers checked the basement. Unable to corroborate the anonymous report.
3:00 p.m. — Caller states there are two people fighting in front of Green Fields Market on Main Street. Disturbance was over by the time police arrived. Argument stemmed from a disagreement over a busking spot. One involved party reportedly kicked over a hat, spilling money on the ground. Not interested in pressing charges.
8:36 p.m. — Report of an unwanted person on Chapman Street. Male party is on the porch banging on the door. Caller is unsure who the individual is. Officers sent. Neighbor was trying to let her know there was a light on in her vehicle. Services rendered.
Tuesday, Nov. 25
9:06 a.m. — Minor collision involving a Franklin Regional Transit Authority (FRTA) bus and a car reported at Bank Row and Olive Street. Minor damage. Involved parties declined to be transported for medical treatment.
11:16 p.m. — Report of threats being made in the Colrain Street area. Text to 911, states that someone outside is yelling and making threats. Reporting party is unsure of who the person is or if the threats are directed at them. Checked the area, unable to locate.
Wednesday, Nov. 26
10:56 a.m. — Caller reports a vehicle has been parked at the covered bridge on Eunice Williams Drive for two days now with foggy windows. Gone on arrival.
1:00 p.m. — Caller reports a crash with no injuries at the underpass on Arch Street. Vehicle with a ladder rack struck the edge of the bridge. Contacted railroad. Bridge structure appears intact. Minor damage to the utility truck’s fiberglass roof.
8:51 p.m. — Report of fireworks being set off near Place Terrace. Reporting party states the neighbors are setting off fireworks. While on the phone, the caller reported the fireworks had just stopped. Reporting party reports this is something that has happened recently and that a bottle rocket was also thrown under their car. Unable to locate.
10:15 p.m. — Vandalism reported at the Olive Street Parking Garage. Caller states she drove by the garage and her back window shattered. Reporting party believes someone threw an alcohol bottle and it hit her window. Beer label found inside the car. Report issued.
Thursday, Nov. 27
4:30 p.m. — Report of a male party walking in the middle of the road by Cumberland Farms on Federal Street looking into vehicles as they are going by him. Unknown male did not want to speak to police and was advised to stay on the sidewalk.
6:22 p.m. — Report of cars racing down Olive Street and Bank Row. Reporting party states they are currently at the top of the Olive Street Parking Garage. Five male parties seen on the parking garage cameras. Teenagers hanging out. No vehicle operation observed.
10:59 p.m. — Caller reports a Subaru hatchback has been parked near the drive-thru at McDonald’s on the Mohawk Trail for about an hour. Person has been sleeping in the vehicle. Disabled vehicle. Vehicle was pushed into a parking spot while the occupant waits for AAA. Services rendered.
Friday, Nov. 28
8:36 a.m. — Caller reports a raccoon is stuck in a storm drain on Fairview Street West. Animal control officer advised.
8:52 a.m. — Lorie Ann Clarke, 46, homeless of Greenfield, was arrested on Chapman Street on a warrant.
2:57 p.m. — Reporting party states someone took her phone and left the area on foot headed up Pray Drive. She is calling from a neighbor’s phone. Tracking puts the phone at Hillside Park. Party was taken into custody after attempting to elude officers. Antonio Ortiz Santos, 19, of East Windsor, Connecticut, was arrested on charges of vandalizing property, intimidating a witness/juror/police/court official and larceny under $1,200.
8:14 p.m. — Collision reported by CVS Pharmacy on Federal Street involving two e-bikes. Ambulance responding. One e-bike rider claimed snow got in his face, causing him to not see the other e-bike. One rider was taken to Baystate Franklin Medical Center for a wrist injury while the other was able to leave the scene on his own.
Saturday, Nov. 29
11:39 a.m. — Caller would like to make a complaint about there not being any pedestrian crossing signs near the Post Office on Main Street. If it was winter conditions, reporting party states a driver would not have been able to stop when they saw him crossing the street. Call documented for future directed patrol.
4:08 p.m. — Cody W. Desrosier, 31, of Armory Street in Greenfield, was arrested on Main Street on a warrant.
Sunday, Nov. 30
10:34 a.m. — Caller from Fort Square reports hearing shot-like noises going off for the last 15 minutes. Gunshots from a range in Deerfield. No action required.
12:40 p.m. — Officer assisting another agency at Baystate Franklin Medical Center on High Street. Timothy Alan Schack, 53, of Main Street in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of assault on a family/household member, intimidating a witness/juror/police/court official, strangulation/suffocation, and assault and battery on a 60-plus/disabled person.
7:03 p.m. — Caller on River Street states she received a call from someone claiming to be with her bank. Caller states she answered questions about her bank information and is now worried she was scammed. Reporting party will go to her bank to change her information.
