“The Sound of Silence” Simon & Garfunkel,1964. The ol’ hippies used to sing alone to this song.

This came to mind after reading about a 300-foot blade falling off a wind turbine located in Plymouth. According to reports, the  cranberry bog was littered with fiberglass shards along with gallons of oil. The blade landed 100 feet from the turbine.

This also happened in Nantucket in 2024.

Where are the climate activists and environmentalists protesting to shut down this wind farm? Silence is all you hear. The elitist in this state are caricatures of the Three Wise Monkeys.

Continuing climate hypocrisy in Massachusetts. Gov. Maura Healey gives us residents another silent treatment when asked to explain why electricity rates in Massachusetts have increased 30% in the last four years. Selective memory governor? As AG in 2022 she bragged about stopping two gas pipelines coming into this state.

Throw on top of increased electricity rates, “policy surcharges” have quadrupled since 2014. A new report, released by the Fiscal Alliance Foundation, found that state-mandated climate and energy programs are to blame for the sharp rise in electric bills in Massachusetts. Solar incentives, “renewable mandates, and energy-efficiency surcharges account for the steepest cost increases.” In addition, the Renewable Portfolio Standard, the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, and efficiency programs, like MassSave are paid by Massachusetts ratepayers.

All of this added bloat to our electricity bills has done nothing to lower C02 emissions or altered the earth’s climate.

Over the last few years, more people have moved out of Massachusetts then relocated here. I wonder why?

You keep electing the same politicians over and over and they keep adding surcharges to our electric bill. I didn’t vote for them. Maybe you shouldn’t as well.
