Little Drummer Craft Fair returns to Franklin Tech
TURNERS FALLS — Franklin County Technical School will be filled with local vendors on Saturday, Nov. 22, for the Little Drummer Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
More than 50 vendors selling a variety of creations like decor, jewelry, pet toys, food and more will be inside the gymnasium at 82 Industrial Blvd. Franklin Tech Culinary Arts students and staff members will also have homemade baked goods and beverages for sale.
All proceeds from the Little Drummer Craft Fair will benefit Franklin Tech scholarships. Money from vendors’ registration fees, food sales and raffles will be dedicated to the scholarship fund.
Turkey giveaway to feature Patriots kicker
TURNERS FALLS — The Heartwing Center is bringing Thanksgiving to families in need through a turkey and produce giveaway, featuring New England Patriots kicker Andy Borregales, on Tuesday, Nov. 25, from 11 a.m. to noon.
The turkeys will be provided free of charge to those in need, as well as produce provided by Red Fire Farm. The Heartwing Center is located at 78 Avenue A.
Pancake breakfast coming to Montague Center
MONTAGUE CENTER — The First Congregational Church of Montague, 4 North St., will host a walk-in pancake breakfast on Saturday, Nov. 29, from 8:15 to 10:15 a.m.
The breakfast will include homemade pancakes and maple syrup, along with sausage or ham for a side. Coffee, tea and juice will also be available. Breakfast costs $10.
Nov. 28: ‘Gratitude After Gravy’ walk
TURNERS FALLS — After enjoying a meal for Thanksgiving, people are invited to join in a leisurely walk along the Canalside Rail Trail on Friday, Nov. 28, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., hosted by the Great Falls Discovery Center.
The walk will start at the Discovery Center, 2 Avenue A, and will be roughly 3 miles long on a paved surface. Participants are encouraged to dress warmly and wear sturdy shoes for walking. The walk is for adults and children ages 8 and up.
