9:32 a.m. — Reporting party from Chapman Street states a random male party is in her basement. Reporting party will speak with the landlord and call if the male returns. Unknown male reportedly knows the landlord.
12:50 p.m. — City bylaw violation reported at the F.L. Roberts gas station on Main Street. Chester Thadeus Sinclair, 77, homeless of Greenfield, was arrested on a charge of open container/drinking alcohol in public.
4:12 p.m. — Cayla S. Plasse, 33, of Stevens Street in Turners Falls, was arrested on Main Street on a warrant, as well as on charges of possession of a Class A drug, possession of a Class B drug and possession of a Class E drug.
8:32 p.m. — Reporting party states someone is in the backyard of a property on Prospect Avenue and is attempting to gain entry. Building is boarded up. Party was moved along. Advised if he returns to the property, he will be arrested for trespassing.
9:35 p.m. — Report of a trespassing individual on Prospect Avenue. Joseph P. LeBoeuf, 60, of Prospect Avenue in Greenfield, was arrested on a charge of trespassing.
Friday, Oct. 3
9:31 a.m. — Traffic stop on Church Street. Review of cruiser camera footage showed failure to stop. Citation issued, mailed to the driver.
4:21 p.m. — Report of three people on the railroad tracks near Olive Street walking northbound. Call placed to train to stop traffic. Officer unable to locate parties.
11:48 p.m. — Traffic stop near the Nouria gas station on the Mohawk Trail. Mason Anthony Ashburn, 20, of Main Street in Charlemont, was arrested on charges of OUI-liquor over .08%, failure to stop for police and a motor vehicle lights violation.
Saturday, Oct. 4
11:19 a.m. — Disturbance reported at The Center School on Bernardston Road. Male threatening to punch people in the face at a soccer game. Male party was moved along. League will take up further action.
2:52 p.m. — Report of an unwanted person at the F.L. Roberts gas station on Main Street. Reporting party requesting an officer to remove a male party who is sleeping behind the dumpster and yelled at the reporting party for using the dumpster because the door slammed. Male party was moved along. Business owners were advised of how to obtain a no-trespassing order.
8:21 p.m. — City bylaw violation reported at the Greenfield Skate Park on Chapman Street. Party was sleeping on a bench with an open container. Francis M. Lafrennie, 51, of Conway Street in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of open container/drinking alcohol in public and trespassing.
Sunday, Oct. 5
5:22 a.m. — Report of an abandoned vehicle at Beacon and High streets. Reporting party reports the vehicle is still running but there is no one in the driver’s seat and it is facing the wrong direction. Kyle David Quintana, 26, of Little Avenue in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of OUI-liquor over .08% and no inspection/sticker.
10:18 p.m. — Reporting party reports leaving her clothes in the dryer at the Sudzway Laundromat on Federal Street and returning to find her clothes stolen. Clothes were stolen sometime after 7:30 p.m. Included scrubs, leggings and her daughter’s clothes. Will follow-up seeking camera footage.
Monday, Oct. 6
1:44 p.m. — Suspicious activity reported at the Olive Street Parking Garage. Male party pacing on the roof of the garage waving his arms. Could not locate.
6:13 p.m. — Reporting party states there are five to seven kids jumping off the bridge behind a residence at Aster Court doing somersaults. Reporting party is worried for their welfare if they land wrong. No kids found.
Tuesday, Oct. 7
10:26 a.m. — Female party is reportedly passed out in an SUV in front of J’s Corner on Mill Street. Meaghan Marjorie Jones, 47, of Wisdom Way in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of OUI-drugs and possession of a Class A drug (subsequent offense).
5:25 p.m. — Hit and run reported at CVS Pharmacy on Federal Street. Andres Lorenzo Collazo-Otto, 32, of Chapman Street in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of OUI-liquor over .08%, leaving the scene of property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation.
Wednesday, Oct. 8
12:30 p.m. — Fraud reported. Reporting party was told to bring $10,000 to court in Springfield. Advised to block number and have no further contact.
8:58 p.m. — Caller from Grinnell Street states someone took his trash barrels. Wanted to have it documented and planned to call back in a few days if the bins were not returned.
Thursday, Oct. 9
7:15 a.m. — Report of a trespassing individual at Catalpa Coffee on Bank Row. Tried getting in through the front door, side door and elevator. Romero Floienco Henderson, 45, homeless of Greenfield, was arrested on charges of trespassing and disorderly conduct.
10:04 a.m. — Caller on Birch Street reports having repeated issues with a bear on their property. Bear wrecked their pool and now their fence. Animal control officer notified.
4:35 p.m. — Officer stopping a vehicle at Silver and Conway streets. Stacia H. Bukowski, 41, of Newell Pond Road in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and an unregistered motor vehicle.
Friday, Oct. 10
1:13 p.m. — Reporting party from the F.L. Roberts gas station on Main Street reports a party is sitting on the side of the building where the dumpster is drinking vodka. No open containers located. Party was advised to move along.
3:32 p.m. — Report of a city ordinance violation at the Energy Park. Francis M. Lafrennie, 51, of Conway Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a charge of open container/drinking alcohol in public.
3:59 p.m. — Vandalism reported at the Garden Cinemas on Main Street. Pink spray paint on the wall. Report issued.
4:02 p.m. — Reporting party states a male party is laying on the property of Ryan & Casey Liquors on Main Street. Chester Thadeus Sinclair, 77, homeless of Greenfield, was arrested on charges of trespassing, disorderly conduct, and assault and battery on a police officer.
7:59 p.m. — Reporting party states a tractor trailer scraped the Bootlegger’s Footwear Center sign and pulled the handicapped sign out of the ground on the Mohawk Trail. Significant damage to the building as well. White Frito-Lay truck involved. Manager at Big Y states the tractor trailer had made a delivery to the grocery store, would have the store manager contact police with more information.
Saturday, Oct. 11
7:27 a.m. — Report of a male party passed out and leaning up against a light pole near the train tracks and Dunkin Donuts on the Mohawk Trail. Male not passed out, just sleeping. Homeless from Florida. Gave him $10 for breakfast. Party was moved along.
10:30 a.m. — Reporting party from Plain Road believes that chickens for sale on Facebook Marketplace might be a scam. Reporting party wants advice on how to approach the situation as they had made plans to purchase chickens. Suggested changing the meeting location to a local police station. Services rendered.
3:47 p.m. — Adam Mikeal Powell, 37, of Chapman Street in Greenfield, was arrested on Chapman Street on a warrant.
Sunday, Oct. 12
7:18 a.m. — Report of a vehicle in the Valley Medical Group parking lot on Conway Street running for more than two hours. Honda CR-V is registered to Valley Medical Group and is parked in the designated spot for couriers. Services rendered.
9:46 p.m. — Caller from River Street states their neighbor has been yelling at them when they use the television. Caller has caught the neighbor unscrewing the motion lights on their porch and wants to know what they can do to stop the issue. Contacted landlord, who will contact police if the light at the rental property is damaged. Services rendered.
Monday, Oct. 13
11:52 a.m. — Caller from White Birch Avenue reports someone is messaging her stating they have her dog and telling her she has to pay them to get it back. Dog is at the shelter. Caller was provided information on how to reunite with the dog and was advised to block the number as they are trying to scam the reporting party for money.
5:16 p.m. — Reporting party reports receiving messages through WhatsApp from two different numbers stating there is an abduction going on in Greenfield of a 10-year-old child. No names given. Caller doesn’t know the senders, just has the phone numbers. Party states he is on his way to the station to show officers his cellphone with the messages. Text appeared to be a swatting call. Fake number through WhatsApp. No juveniles appear to live at the Maple Street address given.
11:54 p.m. — Reporting party states there is a car that looks like it is either parked up close to the medical office building on Sanderson Street or that it hit the building. A couple other vehicles are around it with their headlights pointed at the vehicle. Party also states there are people standing around with flashlights. Not as reported. Vehicle with a mechanical issue.
Tuesday, Oct. 14
8:29 a.m. — Reporting party states nobody greeted him at the counter at Wendy’s on Federal Street to take his order and he is concerned for the well-being of the staff. Wendy’s is short-staffed, no issues at this time.
2:51 p.m. — Report of a vehicle operating erratically on School Street. Two parties on dirt bikes doing wheelies and not wearing helmets. Could not locate.
3:53 p.m. — Meaghan Marjorie Jones, 47, of Wisdom Way in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant on Wisdom Way.
5:32 p.m. — Reporting party reports a large group of kids are fighting on Arch Place. Spoke with a party who advised there was no physical altercation, just kids arguing over a game of basketball. Minors did not appear to be injured. Parents indicated there was no need for medical attention and kids would be staying home for the evening.
6:19 p.m. — Report of an unwanted person at McDonald’s on the Mohawk Trail. Worker reports a female party is going behind the counter and refusing to leave. Female was upset that sauces were not in her food bag in the drive-thru. Left prior to officer’s arrival.
