Thanks to Janet Sinclair for her Nov. 11 letter “Smart meters and opting out.” I am well-acquainted with the very real issues of which she speaks. I am also well-acquainted with how many people are in the dark about what is at stake here.
In the next few months, some vital qualities of life in our beautiful rural area will be increasingly under threat.
I strongly urge all of you reading this to be sure and watch scientist Kent Chamberlain’s excellent fact and science-based presentation here: “Smart Meters: Health, Safety and Opting Out” on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/live/OrRPq6SO8MQ).
Mr. Chamberlain’s talk is very easy to understand for beginners, yet highly informative — even for a long-time student of these issues such as myself. He also concludes the talk with real, inexpensive and simple solutions for all of us, some of which I have personally employed with significant benefit.
