Does Hakeem Jeffries ever listen to what he’s saying?
I never heard a person say something about a topic, and then negate what he said in the same breath every time he talks.
The current gaff: After telling us the ACA needs to be upheld in not too few words, he then says it’s “broken” and needs to be fixed. There has been plenty of time to “fix” it before now, but they just sit on their hands until it becomes a “crisis” and then whine about it when someone actually tries to do somethng about it.
ACA stands for Affordable Care Act. I’d like to know who thinks it’s affordable. When I was on “Romneycare” my monthly health care premium was $120, with very little out-of-pocket expenses. When the “Affordable” care act kicked in, the monthly premium was $685 a month. I called the Health Connector three times to get things straightened out, with three different customer service people, and they all said the ACA was the biggest mess they ever saw.
I wound up on MassHealth. I was perfectly happy with my own plan, and on a few occasions MassHealth cost me a lot of money.
I guess, according to Jeffries, if something is broken, why bother fixing it? What an idiot.
