Local groups get donations from No Kings
The winners of the recent No Kings sign and costume contest earned the privilege of having FCCPR make a small donation to an organization of their choice. FCCPR wants to acknowledge these groups and the great work they do for our friends and neighbors:
The Stone Soup Cafe hosting a community meal and community grocery store; The Four Rivers Charter School Political Action club raising money for people whose lives are disrupted by ICE; Mass-Care fighting for single payer insurance reform in Massachusetts; The Red Fire Farm’s Migrant Workers fund; GLAAD — the world’s largest LGBTQ media advocacy organization; The Food Bank of Western Mass working to end hunger in our region; Friends of the Franklin County Regional Dog Shelter protecting the lives of stray and unwanted dogs; The Center for New Americans serving immigrants, refugees, migrants, and asylum-seekers in western Massachusetts.
