Oct. 31: Halloween Extravaganza
WARWICK — The Warwick Recreation Committee will host a Halloween Extravaganza on Friday, Oct. 31, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Starting at 4:30 p.m., there will be pizza and snacks in Town Hall. From 5 to 7 p.m., attendees can enjoy crafts and trick or treating on the town common and at the houses near the center of town. The evening will conclude with a candy swap at Town Hall from 7 to 7:30 p.m.
Two puzzle swaps scheduled in November
NORTHFIELD — Free puzzles will be available at Dickinson Memorial Library on Saturday, Nov. 1, and Saturday, Nov. 29, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. There will be no puzzle swap in December, so residents are advised to plan ahead.
Attendees should park in the back and enter through the side door of the library, then turn left to find the Community Room.

Next roast beef dinner set for Nov. 8
BERNARDSTON — The United Church of Bernardston’s next Second Saturday Roast Beef Supper of the season will be held Saturday, Nov. 8, with seatings at 5 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. The church is located at 58 Church St. (Route 10).
Suppers will continue on the second Saturday of each month through April. Each meal, which costs $15, includes roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables, rolls and dessert.

Nov. 8: Elves Fair
NORTHFIELD — St. Patrick’s Church at 80 Main St. will host its annual Elves Fair on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There will be artisans and craft vendors, a bake sale, raffle baskets and a homemade lunch of chili, soup, hot dogs and more. Fresh or frozen pies can be pre-ordered by calling 603-577-0198, with apple, pumpkin and pecan flavors available.
