Kudos go out to the Recorder for featuring Chip Ainsworth’s profile of Greenfield High School’s assistant football coach Al Dean. The profile was written in a most professional manner by Chip and covered all of the bases needed to complete the interview. What struck me was my thinking it’s about time people highlighted the folks behind the scenes. We give so much attention to the high-paid coaches, CEOs and other folks in the spotlight but neglect to mention the grunts or those who do the leg work and research needed to make the bosses, or leaders look good such as law clerks, assistant coaches, teachers and many more who behind the scenes do all of the heavy lifting. Great job, Chip! You done good!
