WESTERN, MA – Ryan Trenholm, 41, of Western MA passed away on Monday, June 2nd, 2025.
Born on October 22, 1983, Ryan spent much of his youth in the Bernardston and Northfield area. He worked a variety of jobs throughout his life. He never turned down a job opportunity for the reason of the work being too hard. The most enjoyable job he worked was picking moss. The natural world brought him peace and purpose. He was happiest when he was in the woods or fishing. But driving anything fast was also a sure way to liven him up.
Ryan was quick to lend a hand whether it be to a loved one, acquaintance or stranger. He gave fully to whatever had his focus and put in effort to show his love. Ryan had a heart of gold.
Above all, Ryan had a unwavering love for his daughter, Eleanor Louise (“Elly”), age 11. Her middle name honors Irene Louise Park, who lovingly raised him.
Services will be held Saturday, October 18th at 1:00pm at the Unitarian Church, 49 Church St, Bernardston, MA 01337
