Elizabeth “Betty” C. Mailloux
Millers Falls, MA – Elizabeth “Betty” C. Mailloux, 89, died Sunday
9/28/2025 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in
Montague City on February 25, 1936, the daughter of Gideon and
Elizabeth (Arel) Croteau. She was a graduate of Turners Falls High
School, Class of 1954. She was married to Theophile “Theo” Mailloux
Jr. in 1959.
She was a very caring, loving and patient Wife, Mom, Mother-In-law,
Grandmother and Great Grandmother (GG). She will be truly missed by
all.
Her joy was spending as much time as possible with her family at any
event and especially during the holidays. She also loved her trips
with family on cruises, casinos and wineries.
She enjoyed spending time with her classmates at get togethers and
class reunions. Her class recently celebrated their 70th Class reunion
in 2024.
She was predeceased by her husband Theophile J. Mailloux Jr.;
brothers, Paul and Phillip Croteau; parents, Elizabeth and Gideon
Croteau; and son in law, John Timothy Ollari Jr.
Among the survivors, Betty leaves a brother, Gideon Croteau; a sister,
Yvonne Evans; eight children, Theresa Perkins (Donald), Sandra
Mailloux-Ollari, Donald Mailloux (Susan), Daniel Mailloux, Denise
Mankowsky (James), Raymond Mailloux (Kimberly), Cheryl Noyes
(Michael), Alan Mailloux (Kelly). She was also very blessed with 17
grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren with whom she truly enjoyed
having visits from.
Calling hours will be held on October 8, 2025, at Kostanski Funeral
Home, 1 Kostanski Square, Turners Falls from 8:30-9:30am followed by a
Memorial Mass at 10am at Our Lady of Peace Church, 90 Seventh Street,
Turners Falls. Burial will follow at Erving Center Cemetery.
