Block the Bombs Act addresses U.S. role in Gaza
Our Congressman, Jim McGovern, is one of 39 representatives co-sponsoring bill H.3565, the Block the Bombs Act. This bill addresses American support for the genocide in Gaza. So far, America has given Israel over $30 billion to support the mass bombing of Palestinians. Members of Congress are proactively trying to block the Trump administration from delivering major U.S. weapons to Israel — bombs, tank rounds, and artillery shells. According to CNN, 65,000 Palestinians, half of whom are women and children have been slaughtered. One hundred and sixty-four thousand people have been injured. Many more have died or are dying of starvation due to the Israeli blockade of needed humanitarian aid. I feel that the use of our tax dollars to fund this makes us all complicit in the genocide.
