Quinn Swinington
Greenfield, MA – It is with great sadness we mourn the loss of Quinn
Swinington. He was born on November 12, 1997 at Franklin Medical
Center. He died at the age of 27 on August 27, 2025. His mother
Michelle Brule was from Greenfield, MA. His father William Swinington,
Jr. was raised in Chesterfield, MA. William Sr. predeceased Quinn in
2010 and is buried at St. Mary’s cemetery in Williamsburg, MA. Yvonne
Swinington his grandmother adored him and continues to reside in
“Burgy”. He has 2 aunts and an uncle who will miss him greatly.
He was born with a special need and received excellent care from
Franklin Medical Baystate, The Reach Program of Franklin County,
Boston Children’s Center, and the Shriners Children’s Hospital. I
would like to thank his aides who took care of him all through his
education. Even though he bit many of you out of frustration I had it
worse than you.
On his weekends with his father, who still lives at 273 Chapman St
Greenfield, MA. He loved his travels to the Hoosac Tunnel and to
Florida mountain to see the elk statue. He loved playing his Play
Station 4 and his Lego guys. He excelled at his Lego Star Wars games.
When he would get frustrated with his game he would ask his father for
help, however he always figured it out himself. He loved his Blue Seal
hotdogs which gave him so much pleasure.
Calling hours will be held at Kostanski Funeral Home on Federal St.
Greenfield, MA on Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 4 to 6 P.M.
