Suburban Amateur Football League
Frontier’s offense found the end zone behind key contributions from Kyrie Petrizzi-Richmond, Jack Carney, Lane Kicza, and Johnny Stanisewski, who each put points on the board to lift the Redhawks to a 22-6 win over the Franklin County Bulldogs in a Junior Division contest over the weekend.
The scoring drives were made possible by relentless blocking up front, led by the powerful efforts of Lew Graves and Bryson Lewis who set the tone in the trenches all afternoon.
On the defensive side, Frontier faced a difficult challenge against the Bulldogs’ balanced attack. But the sure tackling of the lines of Barrett Kicza and Ryan Washburn helped keep the Hawks in front.
The game came to a dramatic close with a defensive stand, anchored by Jack Mason and Braden Maloney, who sealed the win with critical stops in the final minutes.
