I think there’s a lot of things in life that we sometimes take for granted. Life in general is one of the biggest things we can take for granted. Several months back I lost a father-in-law and also a sweet neighborhood cat. They both passed just about a week apart. Even though I spent some time with them, I often would pass up other opportunities. We often tend to think we can always catch up with that person or animal later or tomorrow. Then one day (boom) they’re gone.

So since we’re never guaranteed tomorrow, now is the time to live, love, laugh and celebrate all of us. All of our days are numbered, so we should never take one another for granted. Hug and love your kids every day. Show joy to your neighbors. Love and laugh as often as you can. Make a point to go out of your way and remind all loved ones how much they mean to you. Pretend like this is your last day on the planet and you just want to love all beings. Have total gratitude for all the amazing things around you. Be thankful for all those people that you hold close to your heart. Treat all beings with kindness and compassion. Show people your beautiful soul, and practice random acts of kindness.

We’re never guaranteed tomorrow, but if we’re here today, then there’s still time to love. So make that phone call you have been putting off. Visit that loved one that you haven’t seen in a while. Have that conversation with your kids to make a great connection.

Time waits for no one, so please don’t squander it. Make that connection while it’s still available. Much love and gratitude to all. Be good, do good.
