I am an American Jew. Israel, (backed by the U.S.) is starving Gaza to death. Over 100 NGO’s are calling for an end of the siege and to let food in, otherwise thousands will die from mass starvation. The UN reports that Gaza is in stage 5 of famine which is the deadliest stage. Israel’s waging the fastest starvation campaign in modern history. This is intentional starvation which is a war crime. Report what is actually happening, not what the country committing the endless war crimes says is happening. Israel just bombed Al Nasser Medical Complex and killed more civilians, and more journalists. This is after recently, Israel intentionally bombed five Al Jazeera journalists. Since the war in Gaza began, 242 journalists have been killed, according to the UN — a higher number than all the modern wars combined. All of these war crimes, all of this slaughtering, is funded by our tax dollars. We need every American to speak up, to call our reps and say we don’t want mass starvation happening with our tax dollars. We have sent $18 billion dollars to Israel in the past two years which could be funding schools, libraries, health care, affordable housing, child care and more. Check out notmytaxdollars.org/.
Ceasefire now. End this genocide now. Let the food trucks in so aid can enter Gaza. You can follow Mosab Abu Toha to see horrific pictures and scenes from on the ground. Let the world see the emaciated bodies of thousands of children. Let the world hear the screams of hunger coming out of Gaza. 1.8 million people could be imminently erased from existence if we don’t rise up to stop this now.
