Montague’s Michael Keebler was the winner of the 2025 Montague Mug Race on Saturday, completing the 5.5 mile course in a time of 29 minutes, 24 seconds.

It’s the third straight year Keebler has won the race.

Leverett’s Nick Gaubinger took second (32:43), Greenfield’s Ben Whitbeck placed third (34:48) while Greenfield’s Marc Guillaume earned fourth (36:23).

Greenfield’s Marcy Cabanas was the first woman to finish and took fifth overall with a time of 37:43.

Rounding out the top 10 were Audrey Malloy of Easthampton (38:38) Aaron Stone of Greenfield (39:40), Nicole Williamson of Greenfield (41:16), Gina Hatch of Northampton (41:36) and Sophie Horowitz of South Deerfield (41:56).

The next 10 finishers were Brian Williams of Hatfield (42:07), Ron Boyden of Conway (42:14), Dawn Roberts of Leverett (42:58), Patrick Pezzati of Montague (43:49), Cinnamon Desgres of Northampton (44:11), Daniel Skarzynski of Montague (44:41), Jillian Mason of Deerfield (45:03), Patrick Love of Holyoke (45:06), Nicole Couture of Bernardston (45:41) and Robert Austin of Turners (45:42).

Division winners were Malloy in the Women’s B Division, Kenneth Eva in the Men’s B Division, Williamson in the Women’s C Division, Keebler in the Men’s C Division, Cabanas in the Women’s D Division, Gaubinger in the Men’s D Division, Roberts in the Women’s E Division, Guillaume in the Men’s E Division, Jennifer Mullins in the Women’s F Division, Pezzati in the Men’s F Division, Ann Van Dyke in the Women’s G Division and Mike Duffy in the Men’s G Division.

The Mini Mug Race saw 45 participants, with August Bingham the winner with a time of 13:28. Ashton Marshall took second (16:10) while Rebecca Weiss was the first female across and placed third overall (16:34).

CCG Par 3 Championship

Gabe Mota was the winner in the Pinehurst Flight with a score of 52 in a Par 3 Championship at Country Club of Greenfield on Sunday.

Justin McCloud took second (54) while Alex Towne and Jason Kelton tied for third (56).

In the Augusta Flight, Chris Zukowski took first (54) followed by Mike McGoldrick (56) and Jim Tudryn (57). Nate Blanchard won the Congressional Flight (57) followed by Chuck Yetter (58), Phil Reilley (60) and Terry Blanchard (60).

Mike Hall won the East Lake Flight (61), Gary Noga took second (63) and Dave Mota placed third (64). Daniel Bassett took the Merion Flight (62) while Gordon Parker and Mike Beuregard tied for second (64). Randall Bernard won the Olympic Club Flight (64) followed by Joe Wisneski (66) and Bob Diamond (67).

In the Lake Nona Flight Terry Boyce was the winner (61) followed by Elaine Goodhind (63) and Elizabeth Archer (64). Ann McHugh took the Erin Hills Flight (64), Ellen Bitzer took second (69) while Barb Killeen and Gail Miller tied for third (71). Wendy Blanchard won the Royal Porthcawl Flight (68), Sally Bernard took second (76) and Anne Lyman came in third (77).

In a Random Draw Event at CCG, Mota, Blanchard, Connor Merrigan, Chirs Dedinas and Sue McDonald were the winners (100) while McCloud, Yetter, Vincent Melendez, Bob Welsh and Anne Lyman came in second (105).

Nate Blanchard sank his first career hole-in-one during the event on Sunday, making the ace on No. 15. The shot came from 96 yards out with a 60 degree wedge.
