Brick House distributing backpacks, school supplies

TURNERS FALLS — The Brick House Community Resource Center at 24 Third St. will hold a distribution event for backpacks and school supplies on Friday, Aug. 15, from 4 to 7 p.m.

Create river-inspired crafts at the Discovery Center

TURNERS FALLS — Visitors to the Great Falls Discovery Center at 2 Avenue A can create a Connecticut River-inspired mosaic with tiles, marble, pebbles and glue on Saturday, Aug. 16, at 10:30 a.m.

This event is for adults, teens and children ages 6 and up who are accompanied by an adult. All art materials will be provided.

Craft day coming to Erving Public Library

ERVING — Guests are invited to a craft day for teens and adults at the Erving Public Library, 2 Care Drive, on Sunday, Aug. 17, at 1 p.m.

Registration is required. People can call the library at 413-423-3348 to reserve a seat ahead of time, or call the day of the event to see if any spots are left.
