8:14 a.m. — Report of breaking and entering into a vehicle on Congress Street. Officer to investigate. Purse possibly stolen from an unsecured vehicle.

12:16 p.m. — Report of a parking problem at Main and Chapman streets. Spoke with painters who agreed to remove some ladders that were laying in about three parking spots.

3:25 p.m. — Suspicious activity. Caller from Oak Courts reporting two parties are soliciting when there is a no soliciting policy at this location. Woman and man wearing polo shirts with “Nordic Energy” on them.

3:41 p.m. — Caller from Conway Street reports he found two small holes in his window. Not sure what they are from. Two holes, only went through one pane of glass. No suspects, no time frame. Possibly a BB gun or a rock.

9:40 p.m. — Received a 911 abandoned call from Petty Plain Road. Officer sent. Found a male hiding in the closet. Mike Anthony Carrasquillo Romero, 33, of Petty Plain Road in Greenfield, was arrested on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order.

Tuesday, June 17

2:35 a.m. — Security alarm sounding at WHAI on Woodard Road. Officer observed footprints in the mulch around multiple windows. Doors and windows are secure. Messages left for key holder.

10:44 a.m. — Report of an unwanted person at Green Fields Market on Main Street. Officers sent. Reporting party states the same individual that Green Fields Market has called about before who is always yelling and causing problems was smoking in front of the store and was told that smoking is not allowed there, but he refused to leave. Caller was advised he could reach out to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office to proceed with a more permanent option. Gone on arrival.

6:46 p.m. — Report of a vehicle operating erratically at Country Club Road and Plantation Circle. Reporting party states there are multiple motorcycles speeding in this area. Reporting party states he hears them “going over 100 mph.” Gone on arrival.

Wednesday, June 18

1:54 a.m. — Derek Mathew Billings, 28, homeless of Greenfield, was arrested on Bank Row on charges of possession of a Class A drug and possession of a Class B drug.

9:09 a.m. — Caller from High Street states he was getting ready to leave for work and another vehicle hit the back of his car. Officer advising possibly four or five cars are involved. Vehicle traveling westbound on Maple Street through High Street struck an on-coming southbound vehicle, which was sent off the roadway into two parked vehicles in the driveway. Report issued.

12:58 p.m. — Reporting party requesting to speak with an officer regarding her concerns with the homeless population that frequents the Federal Street Cemetery. Reporting party advises there are blankets on the fence in the rear left corner. Information passed along to an officer.

3:58 p.m. — Reporting party states her neighbor on MacLellan Lane has a large number of chickens that are not caged and roam into the street and onto other lawns. Advised the chickens’ owner of the complaint.

4:06 p.m. — Nicholas Tyler Ennis-Vincent, 31, of Avenue A in Turners Falls, was arrested at Main and Miles streets on four warrants.

9:26 p.m. — Reporting party from Arch Street states she hears someone yelling at their dogs and it sounds like the dogs are being hurt. Not as reported. Skunk sprayed two dogs that were trying to fight it and the homeowner had trouble separating them.

Thursday, June 19

12:16 a.m. — Male party sleeping on top of the parking garage on the ground. Moved along without issue.

3:32 p.m. — Noah C. Fox, 42, of Norman Circle in Turners Falls, was arrested after a traffic stop on Pleasant Street on a warrant.

Friday, June 20

1:52 p.m. — Reporting party from Pickett Lane requesting to speak with an officer regarding his neighbor vandalizing his property and about his neighbor’s dog charging at him. Was advised to call the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Civil Process Division for help with a no trespassing order. A voicemail was left.

6:59 p.m. — Report of shoplifting at Tractor Supply Co. on Newton Street. Manager states a male party stole clothing and left on a bike. Unable to locate party. Officer to investigate.

7:28 p.m. — Reporting party from Mill Street states her downstairs neighbors have been playing very loud music since 5:30. No one home downstairs. No loud music upon arrival.

Saturday, June 21

3:35 a.m. — Security alarm sounding at Aldi on the Mohawk Trail. Back room main door motion. Delivery driver on site said he was given the wrong password. Male party calling to get the right password.

11:45 a.m. — Reporting party states there are two men on a ladder attempting to cut trees around the wires on their own property on Allen Street. Caller is worried for their safety. Individuals were upset that the town wasn’t cutting back the tree limbs, so they decided to take care of it themselves. They advised that they were almost done and didn’t need assistance. Services rendered.

12:44 p.m. — Town bylaw violation at Mohawk Mall on Main Street. Chester Thadeus Sinclair, 77, of Greenfield, was arrested on a charge of open container/drinking alcohol in public.

Sunday, June 22

8:05 a.m. — Caller reports medication for horses was stolen from the Franklin County Fairgrounds on Wisdom Way. Sometime since 5 p.m. the night before, a bag with three containers of horse hormones was taken from the barn.

9:38 a.m. — Reporting party on Conway Street has a question about how close someone can park next to a driveway. Officer spoke to reporting party, explained there is no specific law about how close someone can park to a driveway but that they cannot block the entering or exiting of the driveway. Reporting party states the driveway is not blocked; the vehicle just makes it difficult to pull out onto the street. Officer suggested asking the neighbor to move the vehicle if possible. Services rendered.

4:40 p.m. — Reporting party from Lucky Nails on Main Street states a male party is being inappropriate in the shop. Highly intoxicated. Male asked not to return and moved along.

8:30 p.m. — Train conductor reporting someone laid out around 15 national flags on the train platform at the John W. Olver Transit Center on Olive Street, creating a hazard. Items moved.
