I’m not the best letter writer but I have a lot of people to thank.
First of all, I pray healing prayers for my whole family every morning. I would like to thank the Deerfield Pharmacy for keeping my wife’s dementia pills supplied. Then I would like to thank Chet Sokoloski, the South Deerfield Police Department and the Senior Center.
I’ve been taking care of my wife for three and a half years since she came down with dementia. We’ve been married for 61 years and there was no way I would put her in a nursing home.
I have to admit it’s been tough but when I wake up and hear her talk, or kiss me in the morning, that’s my reward.
I ask God every morning to help her feel better and I know when he does, it’s a miracle.
All the people I mentioned are the greatest. I don’t know where we’d be if good people weren’t around.
