Since the United States is the main source of deadly arms and bombs for Israel, what can we do as citizens to halt the sending of weapons and bring about the end of this deadly war in Israel/Palestine where there will be no winners?
President Joe Biden seems no longer able to make intelligent, moral and humanitarian decisions, so we the people must make them for him. How do we halt the shipping of weapons before they leave our shores? Why are we who want peace in Israel and Palestine waiting when action is called for?
Can we begin to stop the injustice now? Can we resist these arms shipments here before they leave our shores?Three hundred years ago, our ancestors dumped British tea in Boston Harbor. Have we not much more cause for resistance today? What is better than stopping destructive weapons and bombs — or better yet not making or sending them in the first place?
How can we start a movement to block American weapons shipments to Israel? How can we help initiate a campaign to stop the killing of innocent people and destruction of their homes, cities, towns and culture? Can we not join together to stop delivery of bombs, bullets and guns our country makes for them?
Turn around the ships that are bringing death to both Israelis and Palestinians! Make the decision not to kill back here where this killing starts and do it now! Not one more bullet or bomb to deliver death of another Palestinian woman or child in our names! Can we form an active movement for true peace? Halt all U.S. arms shipments to Israel … now! Why are so few talking about this complicity we have in so much unnecessary death?
We need to recognize our guilt in this Palestinian genocide! Can we start a movement to halt all U.S. arms shipments to Israel … now!
