Thank you to Jesus Leyva for his column regarding the change from a dual stream recycling system to a single stream recycling system in Greenfield, which I read in The Recorder on Nov. 24 [“Recycling switch by city raises questions”].
I appreciate his thoughtful and informed commentary on the subject and his willingness to express it for all Greenfield residents to consider. I am grateful for his political involvement in city affairs, and while he had my vote in the recent City Council contest, it was not enough to overcome the votes for the other two well-qualified candidates.
I hope he will continue expressing his opinions and participating in the Greenfield political process. I value his contributions.
