I have lived in Greenfield for over 20 years, and I met Virginia “Ginny” DeSorgher when she ran for City Council and was supporting Roxann for mayor. I supported her. Now, she seems to be running just because she isn’t the current mayor.
Based on her one term on the council she seems to think she knows everything. When her campaign talks about issues I care about such as economic development, bringing families to town, green space, transportation, she has not a single concrete idea. And in terms of things Greenfield needs, like upgrading infrastructure and making relationships with state officials, she seems to be silent.
Of course she is walking door to door listening to everyone, she is running for mayor. Anyone can listen and tell voters what they want to hear. But can she deliver? She cannot. Roxann Wedegartner can, and has. Me and my entire family are voting for Roxann on Nov. 7.
